Scott began his career with New York Life in January 2012 in the Norfolk General Office, where he earned numerous accolades as an agent, including multiple qualifications for Executive Council*.
After three successful years in the field, Scott was invited to join the management team as a Partner in September 2014. In this role, he quickly distinguished himself as a leader and mentor, building and developing a strong team in the Norfolk area. His success in recruiting and development earned him multiple honors, including “View from the Top” in 2016.
In June 2018, Scott was appointed Managing Partner of the Reno General Office. Under his leadership, the Reno office experienced significant growth tripling both New Organization First-Year Commission (FYC) and Case Rate.
Recognized for his continued success and leadership impact, Scott was promoted in 2022 to Managing Partner of the Wisconsin General Office, where he continues to drive growth and performance.
A former collegiate baseball player, Scott is a graduate of Virginia Wesleyan University. He holds licenses in Life, Accident, and Health, along with FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 63, and 66 registrations.
Scott resides in Waunakee, Wisconsin, with his wife, Tara, and their daughter, Sterling.
